A few months ago we stayed in the Crowne Plaza Liege hotel during our little city trip to Liège, a city in the french speaking part of Belgium. Although not as famous as Brussels or Brugge it's great for wandering around a day or two.
Crowne Plaza Liege is a five star hotel located on a hill in the historic center of Liège. We booked a Standard Double Room with breakfast included. The room was nice, with a good bed, enough space and a bathroom with shower and bath. In the room we could also access the free WiFi.
The hotel also offers a pool, sauna and hammam which you can use for free as a hotel guest. Unfortunately the hammam was closed for repairs during our stay.
You can also make reservations for massages and other treatments in the spa located in the hotel.
We also really liked the breakfast, there was a lot to choose from ranging from pancakes, fresh juices, fish to eggs and meat. For dinner the Michelin star rated restaurant Le Selys – located in the hotel – is recommended. If you're looking for cheaper dining options, head to the city centre for a big selection of good restaurants. We went for Italian food at L'Officina – in a former pharmacist decor.
